László Vida was born in Hungary, and is a professional graphic artist. From his early childhood he had a love of doodling, and that love never ended.
His parents encouraged him to develop 'serious' skills instead of drawing, as he also liked chemistry, he reluctantly agreed, though the drawing continued. His studies took him to university in Veszprem, and although he admits his university years were really wonderful, he never forgot his drawing, his devotion to his art never wavered. He found a very good 'art club' where he developed his vision and technique, in his own words 'I think more than in a regular art school.'
After finishing university he worked as a chemist for few months, but his love for graphic art led him to leave the job and follow his heart. 'It was not easy, but I think my decision was not wrong.'
As an artist he has produced many wonderful pieces of artwork, including a large selection of cover art used in the Hungarian publications of the Raymond E. Feist’s books, and those of other authors.
He loved the city of Veszprem so much he still lives there today.
