It seems that LucasFilm has selected Chuck Mitchell, who created the soundtrack to Return to Krondor, to produce two foreign-language editions of Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace. Here's more from the http://www.voiceofthearts.com Voice of the Arts' website :
Voice Of The Arts' Owner and Chief, Chuck Mitchell, has been entrusted by 20th Century Fox and Lucasfilm, Ltd. To supervise the Cantonese and Russian dubs of Star Wars, Episode 1.
From recording to mix, Chuck has been contracted to take the responsibility of interfacing with the studios and talent of bothHong Kong and Russia, and return for final mixing of these versions at the acclaimed Skywalker Ranch in Northern California.
"I think this is a perfect use of my 20 years of audio recording and producing experience." States Mr. Mitchell. "Working on the projects during the last several months has been an exciting experience. I'm quite proud of my dedicated team members and the final results our efforts."
