Since Ray announced that the Darkwar Saga would take place in the Eastern Kingdom's of the upper half of Triagia, many people have wanted to know more about their social and political structure. Ray offered this tidbit recently:
There are roughly fifteen areas, and truly only two 'Kingdoms,' while the rest are 'Duchy of. . .' Or 'Land of the . . . ' and there's a large disputed area.
And when asked about the role of the Conclave of the Shadows in the upcoming novels, he gave up a little more info:
Indirectly.Because it's a 'background' sort of business now. The next series will feature just about all new characters, with a few familiar faces as minor/background characters. It's also going to take place mostly in the Eastern Kingdoms, with only a few journeys to the Kingdom itself.
