Is the Magician proof a copy of the original typewritten work, or is it a Doubleday retype

From: Raymond E. Feist
Date: 26 April 1999

There were two proof copies from Doubleday. The first (the Brown monster, as we called it) was a photocopy of my original manuscript, retyped by my mother with hand written corrections in it by me. The second (a more traditional blue cover) was prepared prior to the publication of the trade paperback edition.
