Why does the description of some characters sound like others

From: Raymond E. Feist

I've written twelve MIdkemian/Kelwan novels so far, most on the large size.  When you've got that many characters (over five hundred, more or less) all speaking the same language, all writen by the same author, some are going to "look/sound like" others.  Can't be helped at times.

It's never intentional.
