At some times during the day I find I can't write, any idea why?

Could be simple fatigue.  Writing is like any other skill, it takes repetition, what I call "writer's muscle memory," to get good at it.  But some of us are morning people, some are night people, others are "anytime" and yet others are "sometimes."  You have to figure out when is the best time to write.

For me, writing after my 9 to 5 was impossible.  I found I could get up an hour early in the morning, after shower and sipping coffee, I'd get a good hour done before going to work.  That's how I discovered I was a morning writer.
